Strawberry Cough, Bright and Talkative, in Houston at The Plug
Strawberry Cough is on the shelf at The Plug in Southwest Houston. Strawberry on the nose, sharp on the way in, that's where the name comes from, and bright and talkative after. Both shops stock it.
At a glance
- Type: Sativa
- Smells like: strawberry over a sharp green top
- Feels like: Bright and social. Head first, body barely.
- Best for: daytime, and for anywhere there are people
- Fair warning: it earns the name on the way in
- Tested: third party, every batch, COA on request
In-store only, no online ordering. 21+ with valid ID.
Which shop has it
Both shops stock it. Stock moves between Beechnut and Chimney Rock, so if the one you're at is out, ask, it may be sitting twenty minutes away.
Why people keep buying it
Strawberry Cough is the jar that makes people talkative, which is either exactly what you wanted or exactly what you didn't. It's bright, it's sativa, and it does not sit you down. Buy it for the daytime and for company.

What Our Budtenders Have To Say About Strawberry Cough
Take Small Pulls
It earns the name. Short, gentle pulls keep the cough down and the strawberry up front.
Water Before the First Hit
Have a drink next to you before you light it. You will want it.
Take It Out, Not In
It is a social sativa. Regulars bring it to cookouts and game days more than the couch.
Fresh Jars Matter Most
The strawberry note is delicate. Buy what you will use this week.
Questions we get asked
It's sharp going in. The strawberry is real, and so is the cough, that's the whole name.
Very much so. Head-first, barely any body, and it leaves you able to hold a conversation.
Blue Dream. Same daytime idea, softer on the way in.
Every visit, 21+, photo ID. We card regulars too and nobody takes it personally.
